It will be an intimate gathering for just 22 guests, offering the opportunity to connect directly with one of New Zealand’s most respected winemakers.

Meet senior winemaker, Phillip Brodie

Philip Brodie, Senior Winemaker at Te Mata for over two decades, has overseen vintages that have defined the estate’s global reputation. 

Known for his meticulous craft and deep connection to Hawke’s Bay, during the evening, Philip will share insights into Te Mata’s history, philosophy, and winemaking journey, offering a rare insider’s perspective on the estate’s heritage and the stories behind its most celebrated wines. 

Established in 1896, Te Mata Estate is New Zealand’s oldest family-owned winery and home to the legendary Coleraine. With more than a century of heritage, Te Mata has built a reputation for excellence and consistency, producing benchmark expressions of Hawke’s Bay terroir that have become icons on the world stage.
