The name "Sgroppino" is thought to have its roots in the Venetian term "sgropin," which means to untie or loosen and is often associated with celebrations and special occasions. 

Hailing from Venice, this drink was originally crafted as a palate cleanser to be savoured between courses—an ideal way to kickstart or conclude your dining experience. We’ll drink to that!
